We have also gathered a few important points on this page about our raw materials, how they are produced and how we work with them.
Our precious materials
For our wall maps we use particularly fine, thin, and high-quality cork.
With a thickness of only 4 mm, the cork has an especially finished and elegant look and feel to it. It offers exactly the corrent thickness needed for pinning on photos, notes, and other items.
In order to reduce the environmental impact of our logistics, we only use European cork produced in Portugal.
We use poplar for our city map cut-outs. This material is very versatile and thanks to its stability and durability, it’s an excellent raw material to be used for various different applications.
The wood we work with is a durable but very fine, environmentally friendly poplar wood.
This material allows us to use precision-cutting laser technology for creating the most diverse different forms, designs, and contours.
